STABYL EOS E 2
Fuch Lubritech, as a specialised manufacturer of greases for wind power applications, therefore offers the high-performance STABYL EOS E 2 grease to be used in main, pitch and yaw bearings and also for the toothing systems of large machine elements. Such highly stressed bearings have to tolerate permanent vibrations and constantly changing torques, with additional influences, such as different temperatures and changing humidity.

STABYL EOS E 2 is based on a fully synthetic ester and contains lithium soap as a thickener. It fulfils the highest technical requirements for modern lubricants used in wind turbines. It was developed in a perennial research project in cooperation with leading bearing manufacturers and is successfully in use on wind turbines as a generalpurpose lubricant. It is also used for the toothing system of the yaw and pitch bearings (lube pinions are required).

The technical details of STABYL EOS E 2 include:

universal application on wind power units, especially for pitch, yaw and main bearings;

extremely wide temperature range, suitable for all climatic conditions from -40 to ≤130oC;

has National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) grade 2 consistancy;

the classification KPE 2 K-40 according to DIN 51502 (German Standard);

considerable reduction of lubricant diversity on wind turbine units;

good protection against false brinelling and fretting corrosion;

high load-carrying capacity at low rotational speeds;

pumpable in automatic lube systems;

Specially approved by Rothe Erde (ThyssenKrupp) this incorporates IMO and ZS lubrication systems.
It is currently used by lots of wind power plant manufacturers such as, users of wind power plants and parts.
