一，活性炭概述：
活性炭又称活性炭黑，是以煤、木材、果壳、椰壳、核桃壳等为原料，经过炭化→冷却→活化→洗涤等一系列工序研制而成。
其主成分除了碳以外还有氧、氢等元素。它在结构上由于微晶碳是不规则排列，在交叉连接之间有细孔，在活化时会产生碳组织缺陷，因此它是一种多孔碳，堆积密度低，比表面积大，吸附能力强。
二，活性炭分类：
1，活性炭按外观形状可分为粉状活性炭、颗粒活性炭、柱状活性炭和球状活性炭。
2，活性炭按材质分：
以木屑、木炭等制成的木质活性炭；
以椰子壳、桃壳、杏核、枣壳、核桃壳等制成的果壳活性炭；
以褐煤、泥煤、烟煤、无烟煤等制成的煤质活性炭
以沥青等为原料制成的沥青基球状活性炭
