IPC has the advantages of simple operation, strong flexibility and high reliability. With the significant improvement of the level of microelectronics technology in China, the integration and networking degree of IPC has also been promoted synchronously. At present, IPC has been successfully used in broadcast transmitters. In the process of its operation, although present very important function value, but there are some common faults. In this paper, the application of IPC in broadcast transmitter is introduced firstly, and then the common fault problems and the treatment measures are systematically studied.

Introduction: In the process of realizing the automatic operation of broadcasting transmitter, the industrial computer plays a very important role, which greatly promotes the healthy development of broadcasting and television industry. Based on this importance, it is necessary to systematically explore the application of IPC in the broadcast transmitter and the common faults in the operation process and the measures to deal with them, so as to ensure that the broadcast transmitter machine presents higher operation quality, efficiency and function value with the help of IPC.
1. The application of IPC in broadcast transmitter
With the continuous implementation of the degree of automation in China, the application scope of industrial computer (IPC) in social production is more and more wide, and its value has been greatly displayed. For example, after the installation of industrial computer on the equipment, it can make the "overload protection and PSM control device" and "electronic control logic and indication device" get automatic monitoring through the corresponding program control, so as to realize the automatic switch machine and automatic frequency change of the equipment. The information of the transmitter is uploaded to the IPC of the computer room platform through the 100M network port, and the command such as downloading operation diagram and frequency changing can be received and completed by itself. The real-time communication between the computer room platform and various IPC is realized, and the wireless communication between the electronic control system and the monitoring network system is also realized. From this point of view, the application of IPC in the broadcast transmitter can greatly improve its efficiency and performance.
