Features & Construction
_ ANSI A156.3, Grade 1 heavy duty exit device in surfacevertical
rod and rimdesigns.
_ UL Listed for Panic and UL 10C, UBC 7-2-1997 codes.
_ UL Listed for Fire Exit Hardware. 3hours.
_ (A) label rating on pairs of doors up to 8’0” x 8’0”swinging in
same or oppositedirections.
_ Uncompromising security and safety in single and doublefire
exit doors.
_ Chassis mounted unit construction.
_ Available in many different functions. Lever andescutcheon
tirms are grade 1construction with clutch freewheeling
mechanism. Rose and escutcheon covers 161cut out.
Suggested Architect’s Specifications
_ All exit devices shall be of touch bar design with
smooth operationand be operative over 2/3 of the
door’s clearopening width.
_ All exit devices must be listed under _Panic
Hardware_ in the Accident Equipment List of
Underwriter’sLaboratories, Inc. Where labeled
doors are used asexits, they must be equipped with
labeled Fire ExitHardware and UL 10C, UBC 7-2-
1997 codes.
_ All springs shall be of stainless steel throughout.
_ All exit devices shall be of chassis mounted unit
construction.
_ All exit device shall be ANSI A156.3, Grade1.
