There are four primary sections to be reported in this article: The first section is the Introduction, which raised questions according to the thesis. Based on the understanding of the worldwide trend on ancient architecture protection and the cultural crisis along with ancient architecture carried out via extensive urban development of Hong Kong, this article stated that, the effectiveness of "Conservation and Adaptive reuse of Historicial Buildings" (CAHB) should be again approved. Also, the corresponding hypothesis about the research framework, objective, significance, and practical techniques have also briefly expounded in this part. The second section concentrated on the fundamental research about the concept of CAHB.
