聚碳酸酯(简称PC)是分子链中含有碳酸酯基的高分子聚合物，根据酯基的结构可分为脂肪族、芳香族、脂肪族-芳香族等多种类型。其中由于脂肪族和脂肪族-芳香族聚碳酸酯的机械性能较低，从而限制了其在工程塑料方面的应用。目前仅有芳香族聚碳酸酯获的了工业化生产。聚碳酸酯是一种性能优异的通用工程塑料，自问世以来迅速在发达形成产业化生产，且技术持续发展，装置规模不断扩大。由于聚碳酸酯(PC)光学透明性好、抗冲击强度高，并具有优良的热稳定性、耐蠕变性、抗寒性、电绝缘性和阻燃性等特点，使之在透明建筑板材、电子电器、光盘媒介、汽车工业等领域得到广泛应用。聚碳酸酯的应用开发是向高复合、高功能、专用化、系列化方向发展，目前已推出了光盘、汽车、办公设备、箱体、包装、医药、照明、薄膜等多种产品各自专用的品级牌号。我国在聚碳酸酯(PC)研发上虽起步较早，先后有不少企业进行研发生产，但由于工艺技术落后、生产装置规模较小、产能低、产品质量差，
