AP-SWNT: EA-SWNTs synthesized using Ni/Y catalyst, with a narrowdiameter distribution peaked at 1.4nm. This material has the highest purity ofany commercially available AP-EA-SWNTs (NanoLetters, 2003, 3, 309-314). Ourtests of AP-EA-SWNTs from other suppliers with advertised purities of 60-90%show measured purity values in the range of 10-35%. The SWNTs can be dispersedin DMF at concentrations up to 0.05 mg/ml, and can be dispersed in water byusing surfactants.

P2-SWNT: AP-SWNT are purified by air oxidation and subsequentlytreated to remove the catalyst. The purified material closely approximates thepristine state with low functionality and low chemical doping. Dispersibilityis similar to that of the AP-SWNTs.
