As an indispensable element in architecture, structure plays an even more decisive role in large-scale projects. However, the massive scales, the peculiar forms, the complex functions, the difficulty in design and construction of these buildings, along with many other reasons, often led to the structural parts of them not been attached to adequate importance or reasonably designed to certain extent, which have caused a great deal of adverse effects. Meanwhile, the detailed and appropriate evaluation is also insufficient. Therefore, tracing back from the basic definition, the tectonic principles of structure, such as material, mechanical mode, efficiency, type and composition are elaborated.
瓦的作用就是防水。不漏雨的关键是铺瓦，铺瓦不止一层，重重叠叠摞在一起，上一块衔接在下一块7/10处的位抄置，再用板瓦与板瓦相衔接，***还用瓦泥覆盖在了板瓦上，望板、泥背、瓦，每一层都能起到防水保温的作用。金属瓦屋面的防水卷材一般为单层使用，因此对防水卷材的物理性能指标提出了更高的要求，特别是耐老化性和耐久性，所以将防水卷材人工气候老化试验的辐照时间定为2500h，辐照强度约为5250MJ/㎡。
装配式轻型坡屋面的特点是工业化程度高，施工速度快，所选择材料应便于工厂化生产，并满足国家节能环保的政策法规。在选择材料的同时，应注意各种材料之间的相容性，防止附属材料对主体钢结构或木结构的腐蚀。外墙：使用不怕水浸，***性强的砖墙建筑，并在砖外刷白石灰。这样既能防潮防虫又能与水系地域绿色环境相互映衬，形成一种淡雅的美，就是大家看到的白墙黑瓦，小桥流水。
房屋结构：多采用“四水归堂”式。以传统的“间”为基本单元，房屋开间多为奇数，一般三间或五间。每间面阔3～4米，居室墙壁高，开间大，前后门贯通，便于通风换气。墙底部常砌片石，室内地面也铺石板，各单体建筑之间以廊相连，和院墙一起，围成封闭式百院落，为了利于通风。
